RESEARCH AND
DEVELOPMENT
|
|
BIPL
sources products from vendors after a careful assessment of their
factories. These assessments are based on the equipment and
machinery installations, prevalent working procedures, level of
professionalism and competency of the factory personnel etc. The
physical and financial assessment includes creation of a rating
grade to the factory, which can determine the quantity of yarn /
fabric / garment it can manufacture for
BIPL as
well as whether it has adequate production capacity.
This is an important
process as no factory should be over booked, which causes delays in
delivery and negatively impacts production quality. Factory
assessments are an ongoing process.
BIPL is constantly investing
time and effort in finding new units it can work with.
Imported fabrics and
trims
BIPL
can import fabrics, trims and
embellishments such as labels, laces, rickrack, buttons, badges,
buckles, clasps, ribbons, etc. for the use in the garments. These
can be imported from any part of the world as per buyer
specifications. |

SAMPLING
|
| Fabrics :
A small fabric swatch from buyer is more helpful to develop
required fabric quality. We can prepare counter sample for approval
as per buyer's requirement.
Garments :
Garments can be developed to suit
the color, fabric and style requirements of the current season. A
"brief" (sketches with measurement charts attached) should be
prepared by the buyer and forwarded to
BIPL. Sampling will take 2/3
weeks from the date of receipt of the brief.
Alternatively, a range can be
developed. Buyers can choose from a range that is suitable to their
buying brief for the season. |
